It will only be available to vote on the for the next 7 days so any votes would be greatly appreciated and if the shirt gets made, I’ll be giving some away on here and www.jordanmemari.com!

We caught up with our first place winner of the Letraset competition we ran a few months ago.
The ever-so funky Holly Stanway was the lucky winner of a 24-piece Letraset Tria Visualization kit with a bleedproof marker pad.

Holly is an Illustrator & artist working with everything from pens & paints to fabric & textiles. If you’re looking for an interesting read, or want some instructables on making somethings yourself, check out Holly’s blog alittlestranger.com.

Ok so we’re a little slow of the mark but Happy New Year from us all! We hope everyone had a good year in 2009 (Year of the OX!) but we hope you have an even better year in 2010.
I’ve been thinking about a few things that I would like to achieve in 2010. Whilst these are really specific to OxCreative, they are things that I think most of us could try to embrace:
1. Write more Blog Posts
More blog posts equals more content. More content equals more traffic. More traffic means lots of interaction, followers and good networking! It would be nice to start interacting with those in the community and so we are looking to (more…)

I received some lovely Letraset Tria Markers and so after using them for a couple of weeks here’s what i’ve found.
The Letraset Tria Markers are Letraset’s professional marker range. After using the Tria’s, I found they were equal in terms of smoothness moving on paper and consistency/smoothness in colour & coverage as the Promarkers, but where they top the Promarkers in in their customisation and colours. There are various nibs available and they can be chopped and changed as (more…)

1 – Use good quality products
Whilst it’s true that a good artist should never blame his tools, it’s unlikely you will create something with a stick drawing in the mud as well as you would with good quality paper and good quality pens, pencils and markers. With this is mind, it is important to get what suits you best as there are lots of quality products available. I use Windsor & Newton (more…)

After just a few months of having my previous design live, I decided I wanted to redesign my website again! Whilst I liked the grey design, it didn’t really relate to illustration or design and was a bit bland.
I’ve decided to go for a big change from my usual dingy/gloomy designs for something a little more ‘fresh’ and bright. (more…)

I had alot of things planned for this weekend; work on OxCreative, get a few odd jobs finished around the house, spend time with my girlfriend and family and work on some new sites. However, as usual, things never seem to go to plan and I woke up around 3-4am saturday morning with intense pain from under my right ribcage and ended up going to see the (more…)

I have eventually got around to getting the website finished, the new site design is live and I am going through checking for bugs/issues and also updating content (the gallery is a bit empty at the moment!). Hopefully by this weekend I will have a good amount of content in the gallery

I decided to make some Apple Iphone wallpapers available for free download – suitable for both the original Iphone and the Iphone 3g.
To save them, right-click and choose “save image as…”

When the website is finished their will be a section dedicated to free iphone, psp, pc/mac and cell & mobile backgrounds, wallpapers, themes and skins as well as some royalty free icons, images and flash files.
Whilst all files have been tested fully, OxCreative accepts no liability for any damage these or any products may cause. You may use these wallpapers for personal use but cannot re-distribute any materials, artwork, ideas or images from oxcreative.com or any of its other sites without written permission first. I have recently joined Istockphoto.com to offer royalty-free stock images. They have a great collection of photographers, animators, artists and designers contributing and is definitely worth checking out! I am slowly building up a collection of illustrations that will be made available on Istockphoto shortly.
