Computer Arts Projects Issue 126 – August 2009

We scoured the magazine stand this month to see what’s the best to buy. This months issue of Computer Arts Project is indeed a good one and we think it’s this months best magazine to buy!

The first thing to note is that the astounding fold-out cover includes the work of 24 artists from across the globe! With the theme being character design, it was guaranteed to be a good issue, and we weren’t let down. It covers a large range character design issues, including taking your work from paper to the screen with the “create your own monster” feature with peskimo,¬† a article on “how to create your own paper craft toy” and our favourite “how to cast a designer toy” with Lunartik’s Matt Joneswhich gives a step by step guide on creating your own silicone mould in order to produce your own designer vinyl toys.

To top it all off, there are also interviews and features with TADO, Jeremyville and many more! If you are interested in designer vinyl, illustration or character design and creation, this is a must-have this month!
